Substitute Information

On January 1, 2013, the Ohio Department of Education implemented an online application process. If you are applying for or renewing a license, you are now required to apply online through ODE’s website. Click SAFE Sign-in from ODE’s homepage. Login using your SAFE account username and password. If you do not have a SAFE account username and password, click Sign Up. Once you have logged in, click on ODE.CORE and click on My Educator Profile. When applying for or renewing a license, make sure to use

Madison-Champaign ESC as your district and the IRN# 137364. You must pay the application fee by credit card. Please make sure that you select to have your license mailed to the Madison-Champaign ESC, not your home address.

Substitute Packets, located below, are for the 2018-2019 School Year.

Substitutes are needed during the school year, usually the end of August through the end of May.
We, unfortunately, at this time, do not have summer work for substitutes.
